DESCRIPTION
Pond pressure filter. It comprises a 20/30-litre capacity container, filter materials, accessories and pipe-fittings for connections. PREXO is equipped with a Backwash System (water flow inversion), which allows convenient and rapid filter cleaning without having to open or dismantle the filter. The Backwash System is activated by turning a knob positioned at the top of the filter. PREXO is easy to conceal as it can be partially hidden below ground near the pond. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology developed at Newa laboratories, the PREXO filter will keep the water in your pond clean and crystal clear all year round.

1/2 - FILTER SPONGE: Before returning to the pond, the water is filtered again by 2 layers of filtering sponge, which trap all waste that has escaped the other filtering materials. The large filtering surface of the sponges also allows nitrifying bacteria to develop and carry out additional biological filtering. As the container is hermetically sealed (the filter works under pressure), the bacterial colonies develop more quickly and more effectively than normal open filters.
3 - NEWA AQUA BIOGLOBE: Dedicated biological filter media. These are spherical-shaped and specifically designed to provide the largest surface area for bacterial colonies to flourish, without restricting water flow.
4 - NEWA AQUA KINSHY SPONGE: (Mechanical / biological filtering) This is a unique filter media designed for filtering ponds containing large fish, such as Koi carp. It is highly resistant to blockage. Waste is deposited in the collection chamber at the bottom of the filter for further removal. Its special mesh design allows bacterial colonies to develop and guarantees effective biological filtration.
5 - CHAMBER FOR COLLECTING WASTE: Through innovative design, most large solid waste is deposited gradually in a designated area at the bottom of the container. When the Backwash System is activated, this accumulated waste is flushed out thus less frequent cleaning will be necessary.

The Backwash system is activated by turning the knob positioned
at the top of the filter. The system reverses water flow and allows rapid filter cleaning without having to open or dismantle the filter.
You can create water features
PREXO is easy to conceal as it can be partially buried into the ground near the pond. As it operates under pressure, there is no loss in flow rate, making it possible to create water features such as streams and waterfalls.
